    Volunteer experience

Currently Hosting at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History by explaining displays and answering questions from guests. In addition, Prep-lab work extracts fossils from the matrix in which they are found. Started in February of 2012.

Worked at the HARP Field School under the direction of Dr. McCoy and Dr. Graves in Kapaau, Hawaii from June 2009 to July 2009. I participated in the excavation of three archaeological sites and the recovery of artifacts. I also surveyed areas, entered data, and created maps with proprietary tools.

Worked with Dr. Sherry Nelson at the University of New Mexico on dental microwear analysis on teeth from February 2009 to June 2009, where I created molds of teeth of extant primates that were viewed under a microscope to determine the eating habits of an organism while it was alive.
